Five young ladies are competing to become Miss St. James during this year’s Grape and Fall Festival Queen Pageant, which will be held at Wednesday, Sept. 8, at St. James Middle School. Festivities will get under way at 8 p.m.

When you have a 100-yard rusher, a 200-yard passer and gain a total of 459 yards, all while holding your opponent to 365 total yards, you would expect to win a football game. The St. James Tigers did just that last Friday night in Cuba, but came up on the short end of a 24-12 final. It was the Tigers first ever loss to the Wildcats in 11 years. (See Photo Gallery)
