Diane Cape approached the Steelville City Council at their meeting on Monday, March 18 to talk about a flagpole that was supposed to be installed at the Hoppe Springs Park a number of years ago. She reported that a friend of hers had donated the money for the pole, but the park board president didn’t want it, and it had not been placed.
