Prize-winning History Day student exhibit on rural electrification at the Missouri State Museum

During July 2013, the Missouri State Museum at the State Capitol will display the exhibit, “Turning on the Lights to Rural America,” which won the Missouri History Prize at the National History Day in Missouri contest in April. Greenville Junior High School student Beth Bangert, under the guidance of her teacher April Wilder, competed in the junior exhibit category. Sponsored by Missouri State Parks, the winning exhibit will be displayed in the museum’s History Hall in the east wing of the State Capitol Building.
