Three Rivers Publishing, Inc., is the parent company of the Bourbon Beacon, Cuba Free Press, Saint James Press, Steelville Star-Crawford Mirror and The Extra Plan, which are published weekly in Crawford County and Phelps County, Mo. The company is owned by Crawford County native Rob Viehman.
The Cuba Free Press has been serving the Cuba community since 1960. The Free Press office is located at 501 E. Washington Street in Cuba, Mo. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The original Crawford Mirror was established in Steelville in 1872, while the Steelville Star first began publication in 1980. The two newspapers were combined in the mid-'80s. The Star office is located at 103 W. Main Street in Steelville. Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
The Saint James Press began publication on April 2, 2009. The Press office is located at 120 South Jefferson, Suite 107. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The Bourbon Beacon began publication on January 10, 2013. The Beacon office is located at 251 E. Pine Street. Offce hours at 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
