The CHS Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) will host a trivia night fundraiser to help acquire funds for the FBLA state competition and to raise awareness about the RASCALS charity organization.
FBLA Trivia Night will be held on Saturday, March 23 at the CHS Commons. There is a $100 entry fee per teams, with teams of up to eight participants.
RASCALS (the Robert A. Stehlin Campaign for ALS, or Lou Gehrig’s disease) was started in December of 2009, shortly after Stehlin’s doctors confirmed that his condition was symptomatic of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
Stehlin discovered how little is actually known about ALS during his early stages, and quickly set out to establish the RASCALS organization to bring awareness to the general public as well as the medical research community.
There will be a percentage of all trivia night entry fees and a percentage of all concessions donated to RASCALS. FBLA hopes to have RASCALS gear there for sale that night, with 100 percent of the proceeds from all sales benefiting the foundation.
