A great morning on the Gasconade River

The morning dawned cloudy and cool, a mere 69 degrees, after several days of 90 degree plus weather. I welcomed the cool down. The day before, I had endured 11 hours of pollen filled winds and the blazing hot sun of Lake of the Ozarks, while pitching Senkos to bedding largemouth bass. Today, however, I would be accompanying Will Rollins on the Gasconade River for smallmouth bass.
