Computerized HVAC control approved for jail

Crawford County Commissioners approved the installation of a Computerized Temperature Control (CTC) system for the county jail at their meeting on Tuesday, May 21. The system monitors the energy usage of HVAC in the jail and will therefore increase efficiency and reduce utility costs. It will also save the county money by extending the life of the HVAC equipment in the facility. The system is projected to save the county between $22,000 and $32,000 per year in utility costs.
