HAZELWOOD, Mo. – Gov. Jay Nixon today praised plans by Mallinckrodt, a leading global provider of specialty pharmaceuticals, to strengthen its presence in Missouri. As part of its spinoff from former parent company Covidien, Mallinckrodt plans to invest $2 million in its U.S. headquarters in Hazelwood, creating 150 new jobs in the area.
