River shooting suspect bound over for trial

Witnesses report first shots were fired before Crocker ordered floaters to 'Get off my land'

Witness testimony painted a somewhat different picture of the recent Meramec River shooting than has been reported to date, a picture that portrayed the accused murderer as one who simply began firing shots at people without any real provocation. The reports presented to the court led Associate Circuit Judge Scott Bernstein to find probable cause in the second-degree murder case and send James Crocker on to the Circuit Court.
