School district shines in first MSIP 5 report

    Steelville Schools scored very well in the first set of annual performance reports (APRs) under Missouri’s new accountability system, Missouri School Improvement Program (MSIP) 5. Steelville’s overall percentage was 94.3—a score that would most likely have earned the district the level of “accredited with distinction” if that designation was offered this year. However, classification and reclassification of school districts based on MSIP 5 is not scheduled until 2015.
