Discover nature around the state at MDC National Hunting and Fishing Day events on Saturday

Celebrate the Show-Me-State’s great outdoor offerings on Saturday with the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) and conservation partners at various National Hunting and Fishing Day events around the state. National Hunting and Fishing Day was created and designated by Congress in 1972 as the fourth Saturday of every September. The day commemorates conservation successes past and future, and honors those sportsmen and sportswomen who began the modern conservation movement. MDC encourages Missourians to discover nature through various National Hunting and Fishing Day events around the state this Sept. 28.
