It’s fall football homecoming time at Cuba High. The crowning of the 2013 homecoming king and queen will take place during a coronation ceremony scheduled for 6:40 p.m. on the football field, just prior to the kickoff of the varsity game between the Cuba Wildcats and St. Pius X Knights.
This year’s homecoming theme is “Wildcats Walk the Red Carpet.”
Senior queen candidates for 2013 include Lena Alsup, McKenzie DeRennaux, Baily Koppelmann, Jessica Switzer, and Alyssa Wood. Senior king candidates are Brendan Snodgrass, John Ames, Austin Burlage, Eli Rikard, and Chris Bach.
Junior attendant candidates are Mica Holland, Amy Adams, and Ciara McDonald. Their escorts are Nick Lemons, Gage Kline, and Devin Lea.
Sophomore class attendant candidates are Shannon Ames, Michaela Forester, and Bethany Snodgrass. They will be escorted by Tyler Karpowecz, Chase Burlage, and Dayton Killeen.
Freshman class attendant candidates are Caitlin Edgar and Hannah Weaver. They will be escorted onto the field by Colton Barrick and Austin Thomas.
There will be a homecoming dance following the game, inside the gymnasium. In case of inclement weather, the coronation event will be moved inside the gym and held at the conclusion of the game.
