Varsity basketball teams scrimmaging in Rolla

The CHS varsity Wildcat boys and girls will tip off their new basketball seasons with a scrimmage at Rolla High School this Friday night.

Both the Wildcat boys and the Lady Wildcat girls will take on squads from Rolla and Crocker in a three-team scrimmage slated for Friday, November 22. Teams will scrimmage each other for three six-minute quarters as a warm-up to the start of the official regular season schedule. These games will not count in the standings as official contests.

The girls start at 5:40 p.m., with the boys to play immediately following.

Coach Nate Boeh said his girls were ready to go this week and he’s excited to get the new season started. Boeh admitted he might not show many cards on Friday, as the Lady Cats will play Crocker again on Monday to start the season.

Coach Justin Pock said the Wildcat boys are ready to go. “We’re looking forward to it. I think it’ll be a fun night,” he said.

The Wildcats begin open the season at Houston on November 26. The Lady Cats open at home versus Crocker on November 25.
