On Memorial Day, Gov. Nixon asks Missourians to honor those who gave their lives serving the nation

• Governor orders flags to fly at half-staff at all state facilities on morning of May 26
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – Gov. Jay Nixon has ordered that the U.S. and Missouri flags on all state buildings in Missouri be flown at half-staff on Monday, May 26, until noon that day in observance of Memorial Day. He also encouraged Missourians to honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in the nation’s armed forces.
