Children needed for summer reading fun

Calling all children! Ozark Regional Library's 2014 Summer Reading Program is looking for kids of all ages who are ready to have fun and learn about some of the mysteries of the world! Join the Youth Department this summer as kids "Fizz Boom Read" with science-based programs for kids up to age 18.

The program is finishing it's first month of exciting programs, but there is still plenty of time to join. On Wednesday, July 2, join the Summer Book Bunch in Cuba at 10:30 a.m. or Bourbon at 2 p.m. where you can spark your love of reading with Kat Fall's underwater ecological adventure, Dark Life. This program is for ages 13-16.
Dino O'Dell will be in Steelville July 9 at 2:30 p.m., and in Cuba at 11:30 a.m., for an exciting program. Kids can join Dino at the library for a music and storytelling science adventure about stars, meteors, and planets! This  program is for all ages and families.
On Tuesday, July 15, Story Time #2 (The Science of Art) will help kids figure out the science of art and make cool "Scanimation" pictures. Story Time #3 (The Science of Nature) will be on Tuesday, July 22, and will allow kids to explore cool and unusual animals - and the science behind them. Both of these events will be in Steelville at 10 a.m. and Bourbon at 1:30 p.m., and are for ages 3-9.
The final activity will be Abra-Kid-Abra July 29. Kids and adults of all ages are invited to join magician Joe Fingerhut as he makes some hilarious magic happen in Fizz, Boom, Seuss! Join the fun in Steelville at 11 a.m. or in Cuba at 2:30 p.m.
