Ozark Actors Theatre presents the third show of Season 27, Mistaken Identities: THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, with music and lyrics by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar and directed and choreographed by Amy Shera. OAT has assembled a cast from New York, Louisiana, Texas, and Chicago, as well as St. James, Cuba, and St. Robert.
The Tony Award-winning THE DROWSY CHAPERONE is a loving parody of American 1920’s musical comedy. It all begins when a die-hard musical theatre fan plays his favorite cast album and the musical bursts forth in his apartment, telling the rambunctious tale of brazen Broadway starlet trying to find and keep her true love. If you like hilariously lovable characters, ridiculous plot twists, and jazzy high energy showtunes, then don’t dare miss THE DROWSY CHAPERONE!
Tickets are only $20 for adults, $16 for active military or groups of 15+ (call box office for group sales), and $12 for college students and children 17 and under.
