The exhibition “Wine Country Artists” will feature the work of four Missouri artists: Bryan Haynes, Sheri Hausman, Beverly Ann Wells and Tony Carosella. Each of the artists lives and works in the Missouri Wine Country overlooking the Missouri River.
Bryan Haynes, from St. Albans, Mo., has had his artwork featured in national magazines, international advertising campaigns, CD covers, posters, and book covers. Bryan’s book “New Regionalism” will be for sale during the length of the exhibition.
Sheri Hausman, from Hermann, Mo., is a mixed-media artist who uses an image transfer technique along with acrylic paints and glazes to collage pieces of history and moments of time on whole cloth.
Beverly Ann Wells, from Washington, Mo., will be displaying original oil paintings in a style of realism using many layers and soft focus edges that give her work an atmospheric quality, producing a distinctly emotional esthetic tone, mood and character.
Tony Carosella, from New Haven, Mo., is a digital photographer, videographer and multi-media artist who has shown his work at the St. Louis Artists’ Guild, Third Degree Glass Factory, and the Meramec Art Gallery.
The gallery exhibition “Wine Country Artists” will run from August 2 through August 30. The opening reception will be held Saturday, August 2 at 5 p.m. and will feature a concert at 7 p.m. by the Augusta Bottoms Consort.
