Volleyball season ends

    The Lady Tigers volleyball season ended at the district tournament in Union on October 20 as St. James fell to Owensville in three sets. The Lady Tigers ended the year with a mark of 1-22-4.

Football Tigers will host district game - PHOTO GALLERY

    Despite losing their final regular season game to Pacific 34-22 last Friday night, the St. James Tigers will be hosting Salem to open the Class 3, District 3 tournament this week. St. James is the fourth-seeded team in the district, while Salem is seeded fifth.

Soccer Tigers improve to 6-8

• St. James will host district soccer tournament next week
    The St. James Tigers soccer team earned a stunning win over St. Louis United Friday with a final score of 2-1. The win, however, didn’t come until a shootout.

    The St. James High School and Middle School cross country teams competed in Owensville on October 14. The SJMS boys had the only full squad of Tigers and finished sixth out of eight teams.

    The St. James Middle School girls’ basketball teams participated in two tournaments last week. The eighth grader finished third in Owensville, but the seventh graders were shut out of their own tournament.

    Two of the St. James Youth Football teams won their Four-Rivers Conference playoff games this past Saturday. The fifth-grade Tigers earned their victory at home over Hermann 6-0.
