Tigers get first win at Sullivan tourney

    The St. James varsity boys’ basketball team competed in the FCNB Bank-It Championship in Sullivan last week winning one of three games. The Tigers defeated Missouri Military Academy 74-50, but lost to Miller Career Academy and Sullivan.

Middle School basketball teams both finish fourth at tournaments

    Fourth place was claimed by both middle school teams, seventh- and eighth-grade boys, in tournaments this last week. The eighth grade traveled to Union and seventh grade hosted the tournament.

JV boys lose two at New Haven

    The St. James junior varsity boys’ basketball team dropped two games in last week’s New Haven tournament. The Tigers lost the first game to Washington 42-32 and then were defeated by Owensville in a tight game 38-35.

Wrestlers get win over North Co.

    The St. James High School wrestling squad earned their first win of the season last week, defeating North County 65-16. The younger members of the team also competed in the North County Rookie Round-up on Saturday.

Lady Tigers rip St. Charles 78-45 - PHOTO GALLERY

    The varsity St. James Lady Tigers won their season opener against the St. Charles Lady Pirates 78-45 in the Fourth Annual Community Bank of St. James Girls Varsity Basketball Shootout on Saturday.  The Lady Tigers closed the event with the last game of the day.
