Myeburger joins staff of Hair Shack

    Hair Shack, located at 176 W Pine St, Bourbon, Missouri, now offers a licensed massage therapist.  Allie Myeburger joined their staff in late June and has been building clientele ever since.  Having always enjoyed the comfort offered when giving a massage, she decided to follow that career path.

Leasburg man faces multiple felony charges

    Armed robbery charges were filed against a Leasburg man this week in connection with an incident that took place in May. Jeremie E. Treis, 38, has been charged with four different felonies: Class A felony robbery in the first degree, class C felony burglary in the second degree, unclassified felony armed criminal action and class C felony stealing a firearm.

    Kathy Taber, Early Care and Education director at The Community Partnership, recently presented an award to Abbie Bouwhuis-Bremer from Beginning Steps Early Learning Center in Bourbon. The award is for raising her ECERS-R score.

School board members attend MAP awards

    The Board Meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Vice President Michelle Volkmann.  Following the adoption of the agenda, the vice president declared a recess to allow the board to attend an Award Ceremony in the cafeteria.  Students performing at an Advanced Level on last spring’s MAP tests and End of Course Exams were presented with medals to recognize their achievement.  The meeting was then declared back in session following the award presentations.
