Orange Crush drops first two games

    Coach Brad Purvis and the Orange Crush had their first summer softball games against Crocker last week. The Crush played varsity and JV with both games going to Crocker.

Summer baseball squad still seeking first victory

    Summer baseball in St. James has gotten off to a slow start as the high school Expos dropped six games. The first games of the summer went to Cuba, two to Crocker and two to Waynesville. Summer ball is about skills practice and teamwork so new faces are in new positions.

Fane all-state in 800 meters

    St. James sophomore Parker Fane is an all-state track star. She finished fifth in the 800 meters at last weekend’s Class 3 State Track and Field Championship in Jefferson City.

Lady Tigers finish second

    The Lady Tigers basketball went 5-1, taking second in their first summer shootout, which was held in Rolla last week.  St. James lost to Bolivar in the championship game.
