Water district patrons seeking some answers
• PWSD #4 customers may seek legal action in hopes of reducing fees, improving service
Residents of the Phelps Water Sewer District #4 (PWSD) met on Sunday to discuss the state of the district and options moving forward as residents face increasing rates. Organized by members of the district, Attorney Shane Grayson was on hand to discuss possible legal action open to the district.
Phelps County’s Carol Bennett receives MRPC public service award
Phelps County Clerk Carol Bennett was honored for her dedication and commitment to public service during Meramec Regional Planning Commission’s (MRPC) 2014 Annual Dinner on Nov. 13 at Camp Mihaska Conference and Resort Center near Bourbon. County employees will get off day after Thanksgiving
During the week of November 6, Phelps County commissioners:
• Received a request from Randy Elledge, a resident of Road 7240, to be allowed to make installment payments to chip and seal a portion of the road and to be allowed to lock in the 2014 chip and seal rate. Commissioner Gary Hicks will contact Elledge to further discuss the matter.
