Filing open for citywide elections next April

As one election cycle concludes, it becomes time to prepare for the next. Filing for the April city elections opens on Tuesday, Dec. 16 and will continue through Tuesday, Jan. 20. Candidates wishing to sign up for local elections must do so at the appropriate offices during that open filing timeframe.

Christmas parade starts at 10 a.m. this Saturday

It’s Christmastime in Cuba again, and what better way to ring in the holidays than a Christmas parade? The Cuba Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade will take place this Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Be sure to get the kids up early to find a choice spot along the parade route.
