Grow elected clerk

    Phelps County Republicans won two of three contested races in Tuesday’s general election, riding a wave of pro-Republican sentiment that swept much of the nation. The GOP also maintained its hold at the state representative position that covers eastern Phelps and most of Crawford counties, the 120th district.

Phelps County voters heading to the polls on Tuesday

Authorities locate missing hunter with from helicopter

On October 24, 2014, at approximately 9:45 pm, Troop I was requested by the Phelps County Sheriff’s Department to assist in the search of a missing hunter, identified as a 54 year old male, on U.S. Forest land in southwest Phelps County.
