Cuba PD looking to improve its image through community outreach

The Cuba Police Department is actively working to improve its image in the local community. Through a variety of outreach programs, officers working for the city of Cuba hope to overcome some of the negative public perceptions of law enforcement that have arisen in recent times. Incidents such as the police shooting of Michael Brown in Ferguson have given rise to negative views of law enforcement, and Cuba’s police force wants its community to know that it is there to serve the people and to protect its citizens.
