Several Tigers wrestle at Show-Me State Games

    St. James Tigers wrestlers took second and third places in the Show-Me State Games recently.  Five Tigers and Coach Marty Hauck traveled to Columbia and competed at the Hearnes Center on Saturday, July 19.

    The Orange Crush dropped two games in Owensville last week. The regularly scheduled Tuesday Rolla game was cancelled due to the wet field.

    Storm Declue-Gibson, who graduated from John F. Hodge High School this spring, is living the baseball dream held by so many players. He will be playing for Missouri Valley College in the fall.

Byfield headed to AAU finals

    The stars of this spring’s St. James Tigers track team are not done yet. Richard Byfield recently qualified for the AAU Junior Olympics in the 400-meter hurdles.

Summer baseball comes to a close

    In the last week of summer high school baseball, the St. James Expos dropped four games, two to Belle and two in Dixon. The Newburg games were cancelled.
