Tigers win open game in district baseball tourney

    St. James varsity baseball (8-14) defeated School of the Osage (6-15) in the first round of district play 4-0 in Salem on Saturday. The Tigers were knocked out of the tourney on Monday, however, falling to Sullivan 3-1.

Fuhring sweeps sprints at FRC track meet

    Ten St. James High School track athletes earned conference champion and first team all-conference honors at the Four-Rivers Conference Track Meet, which was held in Owensville on May 5. The varsity boys finished fourth overall, while the girls were fifth. The JV boys were second and JV girls finished sixth.

Two Tigers golfers advance to sectionals

    The St. James Tigers golf team is sending two players to the sectional tournament following the district tourney held in Washington on May 5. The team came in eighth at the tourney.

SJMS runners have set several new records

    The St. James Middle School track season has drawn to a close on a high note. The Tigers had 14 boys and 10 girls in the top ten at a meet last week with several new school records established.

Baseball Tigers fall to Waynesville and Rolla

    The St. James Tigers connected with the bat in one game last week, but didn’t get enough runners across the plate in a par of games to earn a victory. Waynesville defeated the Tigers 3-0 and Rolla earned a 9-4 win.

Lady Tigers soccer team still looking for first win

    The St. James High School girls’ soccer team is still chasing that illusive first win of the season. The Lady Tigers had three more games last week and took three more losses.
