SJMS track teams compete in Owensville

    The St. James Middle School Tigers track and field teams went to their first meet of the season on April 4 in Owensville. The boys came in ninth out of 12 teams and the girls came in eighth out of 11.

New football and basketball districts announced

    The Missouri State High School Activities Association has announced new district assignments for football and basketball. The St. James Tigers will play in Class 3 in both sports.

Lady Tigers fall to Laquey in shootout

    The Lady Tigers soccer team only had one game last week. St. James fell to Laquey  3-1 in penalty kicks in an exciting, closely matched game on April 1.

Varsity baseball team wins three straight

    Both the varsity and JV Tigers baseball teams had a winning week capped off with an emotional tribute to a fallen Tiger, Troy Parker. In action last week the varsity won 4-2 in New Haven, 9-2 in Newburg, and 10-0 at home against Houston.

    Post-season honors are continuing to roll in for St. James High School basketball players. Several players recently earned all-district honors and one has been named all-state.

Tigers varsity baseball team gets off to 1-3 start

    The St. James varsity baseball season started off with one win and three losses in their first week of games. After losing to St. Clair on March 24, Festus on March 25 and New Haven on Saturday in the Hermann tournament, the Tigers earned their first win of the season Saturday against Owensville, also at the Hermann tournament.
