County coming up short on jail revenue
Crawford County is concerned about coming up with the funds to make the November payment on the jail bond this year. The payment due is $323,676.88, and the jail fund currently has just $191,748.27 in it (before October expenses). Commissioners met in the jail conference room on Friday, October 3 to discuss the situation and potential avenues to come up with the necessary money.
