Lady Tigers remain unbeaten

    The varsity Lady Tigers basketball team won a pair of non-conference games last week to remain undefeated this season. One of the wins came over the top-ranked Class 2 team in the state.

Tigers take consolation

    Rolla won the championship trophy at the St. James varsity tournament Saturday, defeating Licking by one point. Salem finished third, defeating Blair Oaks, and St. James was the consolation champ after defeating Sullivan 46-45.

SJMS boys sweep Dutchmen

    The St. James Middle School Tigers basketball teams were busy last week. Between the seventh- and eighth-grade, they played six games and won two of them. Both middle school teams lost to Rolla and Sullivan and won against Owensville.

Wrestling Tigers go 1-3 last week

    The wrestling Tigers traveled to Sullivan for a quad match on January 20 and then to Blair Oaks January 22. The Tigers won one of four matches.

Lady Tigers win Fatima tournament

    Two Lady Tigers— Alexis Uffmann and Ashlee Marlatt—made the all-tournament team as the Lady Tigers took first at the 29th Annual Fatima Blue and Gold Tournament last Friday, defeating Owensville 71-55. The hopes of a rematch from last year’s district championship game between state ranked No. 1 St. James and state ranked No. 4 Fatima were crushed when Owensville overcame Fatima 75-74 in the semi-finals.
