St. James teams seeded first, second

    The St. James girls and the Fatima boys have been selected as the favorites to win the Class 3, District 9 basketball tournament, which will be played next week at School of the Osage in Osage Beach. Tourney play begins on Monday.

Varsity girls remain unbeaten in FRC play-PHOTO GALLERY

    The St. James varsity Lady Tigers added three more wins last week, defeating Hermann on February 10, Miller Career Academy on February 12 and St. Clair on February 13. During the game against Miller, Ashlee Marlatt became the official all-time three-point scorer for the Lady Tigers.

Varsity boys earn three conference wins-PHOTO GALLERY

    The St. James varsity boys’ basketball team won three Four-Rivers Conference games last week, defeating Hermann, St. Clair and New Haven. The Tigers entered the final week of the regular season with a record of 16-6 and are 4-1 in conference play.
