Daniel Ward Ness of Dixon, Missouri was born on July 22, 1949 in Colorado Springs, Colorado to Melvin and Joan (Harman) Ness and passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at the age of 69 years.
Daniel was a 1967 graduate of Kings City High School in Kings City, Missouri.
After graduating high school, he proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired as a Master Sergeant in 1989 after serving his country for 21 years. After retiring from the military, he was an over the road truck driver for many years.
On September 3, 1993 he married Bobbie Duckworth in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Daniel was a Green Bay Packers fan and loved to stay busy doing various projects.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Melvin Ness; stepdad, Lee Harman; and one brother, David Ness.
He survived by his wife, Bobbie; mother, Joan Ness of Smithville, Missouri; one daughter, Holly Ness of Fort Smith, Arkansas; one son, Ryan Ness of Russellville, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; four great grandchildren and one on the way; two sisters, Alice Swenson and husband Wendell of Smithville, Missouri and Susan Ness of Missouri; two brothers, Mark Ness and wife Becky of Cuba, Missouri and Dennis Ness and wife Tina of Overland Park, Kansas; other relatives and friends.
A private service will be held at a later date.
