Argument escalates to stabbing, woman charged with armed assault

    A Cook Station woman has been charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action after allegedly stabbing a man in the stomach on July 11.

    A suspect who fled from local police following a vehicle theft and caused a lock down at Cuba High School is believed to have left the area, but the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is seeking charges in the case through the county prosecuting attorney.
