An 87-year-old woman was killed in a car crash in Crawford County on Monday. The accident occurred at 1:40 p.m. on Highway N, eight miles south of Bourbon.

• Spike in numbers partly due to outbreak at jail
Seventy new cases were added to the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Crawford County over the past week, in large part due to facility-wide testing conducted at the Crawford County Jail and sheriff’s offices. As of Monday, the total for the county is at 290, according to numbers released by the Crawford County Health Department (CCHD).
The Crawford County Sheriff's Office has reported the results of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign” it participated in between August 21 and September 7.
An ongoing feud between neighbors led to burglary and assault charges filed against one after the fight escalated on September 6.
On Friday, September 11, the Crawford County Health Department released a notice of public exposure to COVID-19.
