The Bourbon city council on October 18 approved a resolution to adopt the Crawford County Multijurisdictional Natural Hazard Mitigation plan, which allows cities to be prepared before a hazardous situation occurs so actions can be taken in the event of an emergency.

Three people face felony charges following a drug raid on a Bourbon residence earlier this month.

The third Bourbon Heritage Day will be held in Bourbon on Sunday afternoon, October 16 at the Bourbon Community Center from 1-4 p.m. The Bourbon Community Foundation sponsors the event. The first two such events were held in 1018 and 2019, but due to the pandemic it was not held the past two years.
A new flower shop is now serving the Bourbon area. Bourbon Blooms, which is owned by Angela Dace, is located at 386 E. Pine Street.
