Law enforcement seizes meth stash in Cherryville

Two unnamed men were arrested after law enforcement executed a drug-related search warrant at a residence in the Cherryville area on February 8. Names have not been released, as criminal charges are still pending from the Crawford County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.

A press release from the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office on February 12 noted that the search warrant had been executed by members of the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

During the search, approximately 194 grams of a crystalline substance, which field-tested positive for methamphetamine, along with items commonly used in the distribution of controlled substances (digital scales and baggies), numerous glass meth pipes, two used hypodermic syringes, and one smartphone was located and seized.

The owner of the residence, a white male, currently on probation through the State of Missouri, and a second white male, were arrested at the time on outstanding warrants.
