David L. Gilliam Sr. of Bourbon, Missouri was born on June 15, 1941 in Belgrade, Missouri to Clifford and Edith (Record) Gilliam and passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at the age of 77 years.
He attended school in Sullivan, Missouri.
David proudly served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959 to 1963 and was a Vietnam veteran. He was employed and retired from Sharpe Army Depot, Lathrop, CA.
David enjoyed refurbishing vehicles, boats, and equipment and loved antique car collections.
On February 8, 1994 he married Ruth Ann Hoover in Reno, Nevada.
He was preceded in death by his former spouse, Joann Gloria (Dell Aringa) Gilliam; one sister, Betty Jeanette Howard; one half-brother, Mark Hiller; one brother-in-law, Gary Howard; niece, Faye Isom; and son-in-law, Jack Huffendick.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann; daughter from his first wife Joann, Deanna Eberhardt and husband Douglass of Stockton, California; children from his second wife Marla, Monica Gilliam of Potosi, Missouri and David Gilliam Jr. of Potosi, Missouri; step children, Timothy Lynchard and wife Molly of Villa Ridge, Missouri, Steven Lynchard and wife Anjanette of Ellicott City, Maryland and Dorinda Johnson and husband Kristopher of Denver, Colardo; half brother, Jim Hiller and wife Irene of Alamogordo, New Mexico; grandchildren, Christina Lynchard, Andrea Gilliam, Veronica Gilliam, Jared Lynchard, Elizabeth Lynchard, Foster Lynchard, Allison Eberhardt, Alayna Lynchard, Alicia Gilliam and Nathaniel Gilliam; other relatives and friends.
David requested to be cremated and wished to have no services.
