Jesse B. “J.B.” Teasley of Corning, Arkansas, formerly of Rolla, Missouri, was born in Corning on November 23, 1940 to James Otis and Hazel Marie (Swift) Teasley and passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the age of 78 years.
J.B. had many hobbies, but his favorites were fishing, playing gospel music on the piano and making fishing lures.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Hazel Teasley; son, Michael Teasley; and his wife of 46 years, Martha Jean Teasley.
He is survived by his children, James (Cheryl) Teasley, Paula (Harry) Burgess, Cynthia (Steve) Watson all of Park Hills, Missouri and Howard (Denise) Teasley of Wortham, Missouri; step-children, LaVonne (Steve) Cyrs of Nevada, Missouri, Michael (Rhonda) McDowell of O’Fallon, Missouri and Chuck McDowell of St. James, Missouri; brothers, Milburn (Gina) Teasley, Edwin Teasley of Corning, Arkansas and Earl Teasley of Little Rock, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rolla Chapel of the James and Gahr Mortuary, Rolla, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 25, 2019 at the Rolla Chapel of the James and Gahr Mortuary in Rolla, Missouri with his son James Teasley officiating.
Interment was in the Hughes Cemetery in St. James, Missouri.
