A diverse mix of up-and-coming Missouri musicians will converge in The Gardens Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5. Hosted by St. James Winery and Public House Brewing Company, the Third Annual Heritage Music Festival brings together music lovers in a unique outdoor venue.
The Gardens is the large, beautifully landscaped backyard of the winery and brewery (540 State Route B, St. James, MO 65559). Guests will have access to Public House Brewing Company St. James Taproom’s full menu featuring locally sourced food and expertly paired craft beverages from the winery and brewery.
Saturday's headliner is The Kay Brothers, a regional Missouri folk band from Columbia, MO. In the self proclaimed genre of "Ozark Stompgass," The Kay Brothers strive to achieve a tried and true Missouri sound that captures the spirit of our home state. The band has sold out their last 3 headlining shows in Columbia, MO, a testament to their growing popularity and loyal fan base.

· The Kay Brothers | 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm
Sunday, May 5
· Dixie Union | 1 pm to 2:30 pm
· The C&S Folk Company | 3 pm to 4:30 pm
· King Benny | 5 pm to 7 pm
Tickets for both days of the festival are $15. Saturday only admission is $10. Sunday only admission is $7. Children under 5 are free.
Tickets provide entry into The Gardens to listen to the bands. Guests receive a wristband at the gate that allows them to come and go as they please.
Part of the proceeds from the festival benefits the Friendship School Foundation, an organization dedicated to engaging and educating the local community on sustainability best practices.
Addition of Grapes & Grain 5K Fun Run
In addition to the music festival, Public House Brewing Company and St. James Winery will host their annual Grapes and Grain Fun Run the morning of Saturday, May 4 starting at 10:00 a.m. The Fun Run is an off road run/walk around the St. James Winery’s vineyards that includes wine and beer samples at mile one and mile two, celebratory wine or beer at the finish line, and a logoed beer or wine glass of choice to keep. The run will not be chip timed and no pets are allowed. You must be 21 years or older to register. Start and finish will be located at: St. James Vineyard Cottage, 19506 Co Rd 1000, St. James, MO 65559. Tickets for the Grapes and Grain Fun Run 5K include special pricing for participants that also attend Heritage Music Festival.
