Workers didn’t need to know

In an article in the “Sullivan Independent News,” residents asked the county to take over Crow Lane. Mr. Boast said the county had situations with other roads. One road was Jinney Lane. He said a county worker maintained the road for two decades because a relative lived there.

I worked on that road and many other workers did as well. We graded, hauled rock and placed culverts. The road was worked on well before I went to work for the county, through at least six commissioners and at least six road foremen.
I guess the workers were on a need to know basis and we didn’t need to know.
