Missouri S&T Students use driving simulator to test roadway design before construction

    Two undergraduate students at Missouri University of Science and Technology used a driving simulator to help a civil engineering firm evaluate a new roadway design for the $18.6 million Route 160 widening project from Springfield to Willard, Missouri.

S&T GAANN program helps fund Ph.D students

    Many of the nation’s future engineering and science researchers are preparing for their careers in the laboratories of Missouri University of Science and Technology, thanks to more than $3 million in federal funding through a program designed to encourage more students to pursue Ph.D.s in those fields.
