Halloween Family Fun Night being held

By Alice Bremer
The 8th Annual Bourbon Boosters Halloween Family Fun Night will be held in Bourbon on Friday evening, October 27. Bourbon’s main street, Pine Street will be closed to traffic beginning at 5 p.m. until 6:15 so that families, in costume, may stop in at the many participating businesses for treats.   Churches and organizations are also planning “Trunk ‘N Treats,” giving out hot chocolate, candy and other treats. The American Legion and Auxiliary will participate from the Legion Hall.

This year, the Boosters will revive the “Booth Decoration Contest” and will give a prize to the best Halloween display.
Following the trick and treating, the party will continue at the Bourbon Community Center where there will be a costume contest beginning at 6:30 with cash prizes of first, second and third prize in four categories.
