Project Graduation will hold a trivia night on Saturday, March 10. This is one of the largest fundraisers the group holds each year, raising money for this year’s graduating class. Tickets are on sale now, and there are still tables available for those who wish to participate.
Trivia will be held at the St. James Middle School beginning at 7 p.m. Project Graduation is seeking participants for the event and will be taking reservations for tables and donations for those wanting to donate prizes for the evening. This year’s theme is “Back to the 80s,” and prizes will be given to the top three best dressed teams and a prize for best decorated tables.
The cost for the evening will be $15 per person or $120 for a table of eight. For those wanting to reserve a table or to donate, contact Tamara Story at 573-645-1892 or Becky Uffman at 573-690-2105. Cash donations will also be accepted during the evening.
Project Graduation, which is made up of parents of the class of 2018, with the help of students from the graduating class, have been busy this fall raising money for their graduation party. Since September, several fundraisers have been held, including pumping gas at Mobil On The Run, picking up trash during Old Iron Works Days at Maramec Spring Park, and more. All the money raised will go towards sending students from the graduating class to Incredible Pizza in Springfield, Missouri on Sunday, May 20, following the graduation ceremonies.
Parents will host a party following graduation, this year taking graduates to Incredible Pizza, providing a safe, fun, drug and alcohol-free environment and to celebrate the completion of their 13-year scholastic journey together. This provides a night for students to have a final class party together and to celebrate their journey through school. This celebration is used each year to help kids party safely in the glow of one of the biggest days of their lives.
Students will be able to enjoy go-carts, trampolines, mini golf, laser tag, video games, board games, and movies throughout the evening as well as enjoying the buffet, snacks, and desserts.
