Forestry Board members plant tree at Tourist Information Center

Members of the St. James Forestry Board planted a Riverbirch tree along the waking trail at the Tourist Information Center. Each year, the board plants a tree for Arbor Day to keep the designation of a Forest City USA town.

The tree was donated by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Those taking part in the tree planting were (from left) Judy Cavendar, Mike Fleischhauer of the Department of Conservation, Melissa Keeney, Jim White, Marge Huffman, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Merlyn Johnson, and Larry Evans.
