City approves contractor’s bid for shelter expansion

Construction of an isolation area at the Cuba animal shelter is ready to move ahead, after the city council approved a bid from local contractor Kevin Britton in the amount of $31,500. Britton will oversee the building addition project, which will allow for an isolation room at Cuba Animal Control that can be used for animals that require quarantine.
