Cuba City Council Notes: October 16, 2018

The Cuba City Council met in regular session at City Hall on Tuesday, October 16, to discuss the following items of business:

• The council approved the agenda as presented and also approved regular meeting and executive session meeting minutes from October 2 as presented.

• Bruce Nebel of the Disabled American Veterans inquired about the city having any available office space for the DAV to use. The DAV currently uses space in the old Briarwood Nursing Home building, but the organization will need to move out. Mayor Ray Mortimeyer suggested using office space behind City Hall, in the area that was once used by the Food Pantry. The American Red Cross currently uses that space, but Alderman Cody Leathers said they might be able to share that space. The mayor will look into the matter further.
