Walter David Franklin

Walter David Franklin of St. James, Missouri was born in Clarendon, Arkansas on August 22, 1946 to Henry and Lorraine (Steen) Pedroli and passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the age of 72 years.

He married Nita DeGregorio on April 23, 1969.
Walter loved living in the St. James, Missouir area. It was a wonderful place to raise children, go to church, fish and raise a garden. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and he drove the bus to pick up children for Awana, and vacation Bible school.
He really loved to fish and would head out to Maramec Spring every chance he could, he used to always go early to be there when the whistle blew, but later he had decided that a really good fisherman didn’t have to be there that early, so he would go later on in the day and still catch his limit.
Walter and Nita always had a nice garden when they had the garden space, they were always happy to share the bounty of that harvest with family, friends and neighbors.
He drove a propane truck for Ferrell Gas for over 20 years.
He was a good Christian man and held firm to his values and beliefs that if someone needs something, and you can help, that is the proper thing to do. It is those same values and beliefs that he instilled in his children.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorraine Pedroli; brothers, John, Russell and Paulie Moody; and daughter-in-law, Shelia Myers.
He is survived by his wife, Nita Franklin of the home; father, Henry Pedroli of Arnold, Missouri; children, Henry Myers and wife Renai of St. James, Missouri, Don Myers of St. James, Missouri, John Myers and wife Dawn of St. James, Missouri, Allen Myers and wife Jo of Tacoma, Washington, Robin Cooper of Rolla, Missouri, David Shawn Franklin and wife Irasema of Austin, Texas, Denise Franklin of St. Louis, Missouri and Michael Franklin, of St. Louis, Missouri; sister, Shirley Moody of Florida and Linda Norman and husband Carl of Arnold, Missouri; 25 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
