Carol Jo Stumpf of St. James, Missouri was born on January 4, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri to Clifford and Martha Stumpf, and passed away on Monday, November 5, 2018 at the age of 65 years.
Carol graduated from State School 23 in Rolla, Missouri and worked for 30 years at the Rolla Are Sheltered Workshop. Carol loved music, she had a large record collection, but especially enjoyed listening to the Lawrence Welk Orchestra. He favorite movie was the Wizard of Oz and she never got tired of watching it.
She is survived by her mother, Martha Stumpf; sister, Catherine Ann and brother-in-law, Ted Rooney of Albuquerque, New Mexico; aunt, Carmolee Cornick of Fulton, Missouri; uncle, James Mayfield of Rogers, Arkansas; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary in St. James, Missouri.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the St. James Chapel of the James & Gahr Mortuary with Reverend Jerry Baumann, and Stephen Brubaker officiating. Music selections presented by Jeannette Ashley and Stephen Brubaker.
Internment was at the High Gate Baptist Cemetery.
Pallearers were Mark Davis, Don Davis, Larry Davis, Ira Satterfield, Quinton Satterfield and Norman Satterfield.
