Shirley Louise Smith of Cuba, Missouri was born to Herbert and Viola Louise (Kamper) Heidmann on August 8, 1937 in Gerald, Missouri and passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the age of 81 years.
Shirley married Ronald J. Smith on May 27, 1956 in Gerald, Missouri.
Shirley along with her husband Ron, owned and operated Air-King Janitorial Supply Company for 30 years. She was a devoted member of Living Church of God in Rolla, Missouri. She had a strong faith in God and loved playing the piano. She enjoyed playing pinochle, sewing and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Viola Louise Heidmann; husband, Ronald J. Smith; and one sister, Dorothy Kreftmeyer.
She is survived by three children, Dennis Smith of O’Fallon, Missouri, David and wife Karla Smith of DeSoto, Kansas, Sherri and husband Fred Ziegler of Cuba, Missouri; four grandchildren, Adria and Matthew Smith, Kaitlyn and Robbie Ziegler; one sister, Judy Willaman of Rosebud, Missouri; one brother-in-law, Jim and wife Elvena Smith of Cuba, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Mizell Funeral Home in Cuba, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at the Mizell Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Franz officiating.
Interment followed at the Meramec Hills Cemetery, Cuba, Missouri.
Arrangements under the direction of the Mizell Funeral Home of Cuba, Missouri.
