Jesse James Robbins of Bland, Missouri Jesse was born on October 28, 1965 in Middlton, Tennessee to James Leroy and Fredia Emma (Turner) Robbins and passed away November 25, 2018 at the age of 53 years.
Jesse loved deer hunting. He had a dog that he considered to be his child. He took him everywhere.
He grew up in Edgar Springs and Newburg, Misouri then eventually settled in Bland, Missouri.
He was married twice to his first wife, Christina Coverdell of Cuba, Missouri and they had a son together named Jordan (Robbins) Coverdell who has a son named Braxton.
He had other grandbabies from his second wife, Vickie Robbins. She had two daughters with children.
He was a hard worker until he had a vehicle accident and a heart attack. He loved the water, especially the rivers in Flat, Missouri and Spring Creek. He loved horses and knew how to take a wild horse and tame him within one week. He was a true cowboy.
He loved gun and knives.
Jesse will be missed for the funny things he would say and his deer hunting skills.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Robbins; grandparents, George Robbins, Mamie Robbins, Jessie Turner and Ellen Turner; brother, Daniel; and son, Josh.
He is survived by his mother, Fredia Bunton; wife, Vickie Robbins; son, Jordan Coverdell of Cuba, Missouri and grandson, Braxton; daughters, Hannah and Brooke and their children; two brothers; seven sisters; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Fox Funeral Home in Licking, Missouri.
Funeral service was held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Fox Funeral Home in Licking, Missouri.
Interment was in the Trout Cemetery in Beulah, Missouri.
