Darren Dwight Green of Desoto, Missouri was born March 23, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri to Herman Dwight and Diane Wymer Green and passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018 at the age of 52 years, 8 months and 28 days.
In September of 1994 he married Denise Burns.
Darren was a plumber for Aries Plumbing in St. Louis, Missouri for several years. Darren’s happy place was spending time at the family property in Cherryville, Missouri hunting and being with his family.
Darren recently made a profession of faith and was baptized by Rev. David Scott.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight Green; and step-father, Jack Morhaus.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Denise Green of Desoto, Missouri; one son, Shawn (Kirsten) Green of Arnold, Missouri; mother, Diane Morhaus of Mehlville, Missouri; one brother, David (Jennifer) Green of Fenton, Missouri; two step brothers, Thomas (Tina) Morhaus of Creve Coeur, Missouri and Daniel (Sherry) Morhaus of Glen Carbon, Illinois; grandchildren, Kinsley Green, Huntter Green, Mason Green and Mason Harris; nephews, Grant Green and Ryan Green of High Ridge, Missouri; uncles, Dean (Georgia) Wymer of Steelville, Missouri and Donnie Green of Cherryville, Missouri; special friends, Ken Lawson of Warsaw, Missouri and Loyd (Jackie) Ware of Cherryville, Missouri; other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held from noon until at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri.
Celebration of Life was held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at the Britton-Bennett Funeral Home in Steelville, Missouri with Rev. Bob Coleman officiating. Special music of “Outskirts of Heaven,” “When I Get to Where I’m Going,” “That’s My Job,”, “It is Well with My Soul” and “I Can Only Imagine” was played. Memories were shared by friend Jackie Ware.
The family chose cremation as the final disposition.
